Learn more about the experienced Frome Farm Vets team.

Candido Rodriguez
MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
After graduating from the Complutense University of Madrid, Candi completed his RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioner certificate in cattle health and production with the University of Liverpool. He has over 25 years of experience within cattle practice, and has worked across Spain, Ireland, Brazil and the UK. Since founding Frome Farm Vets in 2016, he has focused on improving herd health and farm profitability, particularly within dairy herd medicine, surgery and fertility. Away from work, he enjoys staying active, planning trips abroad, enjoying the Somerset countryside and studying the stock market.

David Jackson
MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
David has worked in farm practices across Somerset since graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. In 2012, he and Candido opened their first practice together, and have since evolved the business to suit the changing needs of local farmers. His main interests lie in dairy fertility and mastitis and health planning. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with his family, surfing and running.

Jade Cook
Vet Technician
Before joining us, Jade completed degrees in agriculture and animal care and welfare and worked on various farms. She brings a great deal of hands-on experience to her role, especially within TB testing, freeze branding, mobility scoring and calf services. She is attuned to the challenges that farm owners face and is committed to providing support that improves animal health, while building strong relationships with farmers. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, travelling and going to the gym.

Kellie Walters
Office Administrator
Kellie is the friendly first point of contact at Frome Farm Vets, where she has been a vital part of the team since 2018. She coordinates all veterinary appointments, ensuring that our clients feel welcome and supported from the moment they get in touch. Known for her helpful nature and warm approach, she brings both experience and heart to her role. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her horses, cats and her much-loved (and ever-growing!) group of grandchildren.

Avon Farm Vets, our sister practice
We’re proud to work alongside the team at Avon Farm Vets, who are fellow members of the VetPartners group and share our commitment to quality farm veterinary care.
They support us in carrying out on-call and relief work – you may have met some of their friendly team members already at a call-out appointment!
